The Llano Open Fiddle Contest will be held at the historic LanTex Theater in downtown Llano on Saturday April 1st, 2017. Festival activities begin on Friday with the Llano Air Fiddle and Anything Goes – Tricks and Licks competitions.  This year’s Open Fiddle Contest will include youth, senior, open, and accompanist divisions. Saturday’s activities will also include an evening music concert.  On Sunday morning, an early service with cowboy breakfast and Texas fiddle music will conclude the weekend of musical activities.
